Henry Quatre is our most contemplative red cuvée. A liquid that asks you to slow down.

Complex, velvety, and layered, it is built on distilled cassis and juniper, assembled with wine peach.

It offers the richness and acidity of a fine red wine with none of the heaviness. Named for a king who understood that the best things arrive with patience.

AROMATIC PROFILE

The nose tells a story of wild places: red fruits, cranberries, cassis, juniper, and a warm spice that could be clove or cinnamon.

It shifts each time you return to it.

On the palate, velvet tannins carry cocoa, a buttery depth, and the surprising sweetness of pecan.

The acidity is rich and round, and the finish is long, evolving slowly toward something like memory.

THE CREATION

Henry Quatre is an assemblage in the fullest sense. Multiple individual distillates, each rested separately, brought together only when each has reached full maturity.

THE PERFECT PAIRING

Pour 125 ml into a red wine glass. Serve slightly chilled, to allow the aromas to unfold as the liquid warms in the glass.

No ice. No garnish. This is a cuvée that reveals itself over time.

The second sip will be different from the first. The last will be different again.

GENERAL SUGGESTION

Henry Quatre belongs at the most serious part of the meal.

Beside white truffle shaved over fresh pasta, the briny intensity of sea urchin, or a perfectly rested piece of veal.

It pairs with complexity: organ meats, a rich jus, a chocolate fondant with fleur de sel.

The tannins and acidity provide the architecture; the food provides the occasion.
